Lizzy Andretta is an actress, singer, dancer, and Jersey girl, born and raised. Her first introduction to the theatre was at the earliest possible age, as her mother was pregnant with her whilst performing in Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean (a show she would go on to appear in much later). As a child she was formally introduced
to theatre through her parents’ involvement at the Studio Playhouse in Montclair, NJ, where she would stand on the stage whilst others were working and belt out songs from Annie, fantasizing about her stage debut. Eventually Lizzy made her debut at the age of 7 as an Oompa Loompa in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Studio Playhouse, and
went on to appear in several shows there over the course of her childhood. She continued appearing in musicals throughout high school and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Theater at Skidmore College. Following college, Lizzy desired to take her theatre training to the next level and travelled across the pond and obtained her MFA in Acting at East 15 Acting School in England. Currently, she is working as a resident ensemble member at the Commonweal Theatre Company in Lanesboro, Minnesota. When not acting, Lizzy enjoys playing and learning new musical instruments, playing video games (her favorites being the Legend of Zelda, Mass Effect and Pokemon series), and being a movie buff. Lizzy currently works as a member of the Commonweal Theatre Company's Professional Resident Ensemble in Minnesota.
